The row has over 300 jewelry stores in a two-block stretch. Competition is strong, which means buyers pay closer to fair market value. Expect 25-40% of retail for certified stones.
Before you sell: 5 rules

- Bring your GIA / IGI report. No certificate? Buyers will discount 10-25% because they can't verify the stone.
- Get at least 3 written offers. Philadelphia dealers know each other and will price-match the best honest offer.
